Vegetarianism

Hi all! I’m going on an adventure soon, so I’ve decided to write before I go. I will probably talk only about my vacation after I’m back, so let’s use the time when I’m still of sound mind. Today I want to tell you about my food-experiment with vegetarianism, how it went and what do I think about switching to vege life.

Ozark

Do you know that moment when you watch some series on Netflix and you think it’s the best you’ve seen and there won’t be anything as good anytime soon (until the new season of GoT of course)? Yeah, I had that recently after almost every series I saw. After watching Dirk Gently I was sure there won’t be anything as entrancing, a plot so gripping and the story so good I won’t be able to stop watching. Then I’ve started a brand new Netflix series – Ozark.

Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency

As you may have heard, I’ve found a new job in June (yay!). It requires rare presence somewhere in Warsaw, but most of the week (usually) I spend working from home (isn’t it perfect?). That means obviously, I save at least two hours on commuting every day and thus I’ve decided to dedicate that time to…. TV series! Or, more accurately, series which are on Netflix. Today I present to you a review of a story based on my favourite novelist of all time.

American Crime Story: The people vs. O.J.Simpson

Last year of my Master studies is almost over. It wasn’t a busy one, I had plenty of free time and thus I’ve watched many, MANY, TV series. I’d like to share my thoughts about it with you and I’m truly interested if you share my views or not and why. Let’s start with a Netflix original – first season of American Crime Story

What’s up?

You may have been wondering where did I disappear. I didn’t, I was just quite busy recently and didn’t find much time to come here and write. Also there was a lot going on in my private life, part which I don’t want to share, so I couldn’t possibly think of any serious topics to write about. However, yesterday was ma last classes EVER, so hell yeah – now I’m all yours! Expect something new this weekend, I finally have some free time for myself (and my unfinished master thesis) so I’ll be trying to remember all the things I wanted to tell y’all. ;) Expect reviews, political comments and some posts about German people. Stay tuned!

Oscars 2017

It’s this time of the year again! My favourite award show, which motivates me to watch many films in a short time. I’ve never managed to watch all of the films nominated for ‘best picture’, I was, however, really close this year. I’ve watched 5 out of 9 and I got to say this was certainly not a wasted time. Like every year I write my predictions and later maybe live commentary (if I had the strength, after all the show starts at 2 a.m. of my local time…). I want to comment on some films too, so spoiler alert!

What changes our response to art?

I’ve attended a web-class about contemporary art and had to write an essay about it. I’ve got A, so I thought I should share my work with the world – I hate to think no one will ever read it. I don’t normally talk about art here, so maybe it’s going to be a refreshing change. Please comment if you agree or disagree with my opinion below. :)

Erasmus – is it affordable?

The recruitment for next year’s Erasmus+ program is over, at least in my university. Sadly again this year there were no students willing to go to summer practice in United Kingdom nor to a semester in Germany. I’m often asked how expensive it was and if I could survive on Erasmus scholarship. The answer is – it depends.
